Factory capabilities and technical limits

Detailed technical scope for our three production processes, in house mold shop, and customer supplied material policy.

Injection molding machine on a factory production floor
SHOP FLOOR: INJECTION MOLDING AND METAL STAMPING UNDER ONE ROOF

Injection molding

We run small and medium plastic components with molds fabricated in house. Our setup handles initial prototypes, sample validation, and scheduled production batches based on customer drawings.

In house molds
Simple molds machined in house
Small batches
Small batches accepted
Export orders
Export orders supported
Steel injection mold on a workshop table
Injection molded components and small gears

Metal stamping

Mechanical press stamping for custom hardware parts and stamped components. Stamping dies are designed and assembled in our tool room.

In house dies
Stamping dies produced in house

Custom to drawings
Export orders
Export orders supported
Metal stamping press feeding steel strip from a coil
Stamped metal parts and component inspection floor

Rubber overmolding

Rubber overmolding directly onto pre molded plastic parts or stamped metal inserts.

In house molds
Molds made in house
Material option
Customer supplied material accepted
Small batches
Small batches accepted
Rubber overmolded components on a wooden table
Dimensional metrology on molded and overmolded housings

Customer drawings and customer supplied materials

Flexible production terms designed for engineering teams.

Working strictly from customer drawings

We manufacture exactly to customer supplied CAD models and 2D engineering prints. We do not alter part dimensions without written customer confirmation.

Customer supplied material option

When your project demands specialized European resins, certified compounds, or specific metal alloy strip, you may supply raw materials directly to our plant.

Clamp force calculation

Estimate theoretical press clamp force based on part projected area, cavity count, and injection pressure.

cm²
Theoretical engineering estimate for componen...
cav
Number of cavities
400 bar
Standard range 300 to 600 bar. Default is 400 bar.
Estimated clamp force
572kN(≈ 58 metric tons)
10 percent safety margin included
Calculation formula:Clamp force in kN = (Area in cm² × Cavities × Pressure in bar ÷ 100) × 1.10
Theoretical engineering estimate for component planning. Tooling layout, runner balance, and press assignment are confirmed during quotation review.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers regarding order minimums, tooling, and communication.

What is the minimum order quantity?
Production runs are evaluated per project based on part geometry, mold construction, and material availability. Both initial sample runs and recurring production batches are reviewed.
Does Ningbo Haiming Electronics make molds in house?
Yes. Simple molds and stamping dies are designed, machined, and maintained directly inside our Ninghai facility.
Can clients provide their own resins or metals?
Yes. If your application requires a proprietary polymer or specific metal alloy grade, we can process customer supplied material delivered to our factory.
What manufacturing capabilities are outside your plant scope?
We do not operate large automated assembly lines, die casting machinery, or continuous extrusion equipment.
How do European customers communicate with the factory?
European clients can work directly with Isurus Works Studio in Cagliari, Italy, for drawing review and contractual questions, or correspond directly with factory personnel.
